EUROPE – PILLOW

A TALE

Europe was a Phoenician princess of unimaginable beauty, married to the King of Crete. Alas, this Royal marriage was not to last. The reason was the King of the Olympian Gods, Zeus. When he set eyes on Europe, he immediately fell in love. Europe had to be his and his alone. So he turned himself into a mighty bull and abducted Europe. Together, they traveled wide and far, across a continent destined to be named after this fabled beauty.

AN ISPIRATION

Inspired by one of the artist’s pieces, based on the theme of Europe’s abduction by Zeus. In this particular piece, the pattern focuses only on Europe

A TOUCH OF LUXURY

The texture and colour of silk, reminiscent of marble, along with the linear pattern, echoes the minimalism of the sculpted piece by Mary Papakonstantinou. Use it in combination with other Theana pieces, to enrich your space with brightness and colour.
